Troll Honda BQR continue tests at Catalunya
Just two days after completion of their latest test at Valencia, the Troll Honda BQR team were back on track for two more days at Catalunya this week. Eric Bataille was unable to take part in the session, however, due to injuries he sustained in a nasty crash at Valencia, meaning Alex Debón was the only 250cc representative lapping alongside a bunch of 125cc riders who were also testing at the Spanish circuit on Tuesday and Wednesday.
"We started pretty late on the first day because the track was wet but the conditions improved in the afternoon and we had a full day today," commented Debon at the end of the test. "I improved my time, lapped regularly in the 1'49s on race tyres and improved my best race lap time from last year by a full second on a cold track so I'm pretty happy. I continued testing the new chassis which I had already used in Valencia and I'm very happy with it – it's much more rigid than the old chassis. "Generally speaking the 2004 kit is faster and superior to last year's. I also have a new chassis technician, two extra mechanics and a new telemetrist and they have all settled in well and that is another important factor. I'm feeling good and looking forward to some top results this season." The next test for the Troll Honda BQR team will be on the 6th and 7th March at Valencia.About us
