Some of the biggest stars on the MotoGP grid took time out after a good day's work to meet the fans at Le Mans, signing autographs and answering questions from an enthusiastic crowd.

Some of the biggest stars on the MotoGP grid took time out after a good day's work in their Friday free practice sessions to meet the fans at Le Mans, signing autographs and answering questions from an enthusiastic crowd.

Local hero Randy de Puniet was one of the crowd favourites, along with Rizla Suzuki pair Chris Vermeulen and John Hopkins. Also present were Carlos Checa, Colin Edwards, Fonsi Nieto, Loris Capirossi, and the Japanese Konica Minolta rider Shinya Nakano who himself lives in France and describes this weekend's event as his second home Grand Prix.
