Gabor Talmacsi was the quickest rider in the 125cc Sepang warmup session.

A dry track welcomed the 125cc warmup session in Sepang, as the final preparations began for the Polini Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix. Fastest out of the blocks in the 20 minute session was front row starter Gabor Talmacsi, recording a 2´15.483 lap onboard his Mapfre Aspar Aprilia.

Second in the session was Simone Corsi, with Sergio Gadea, Stefan Bradl, Joan Olive and Sepang poleman Andrea Iannone all going round faster than newly-crowned World Champion Mike di Meglio.

Nicolas Terol, Stevie Bonsey and Pol Espargaro –who starts from the front row- also featured in the top ten.

British rider Scott Redding was one of the early crashers, and only undertook two laps of the Malaysian track, whilst two riders who completed no laps in the warmup session were Cyril Carrillo and Tomoyoshi Koyama, the former having fractured his wrist in the Saturday action.
