Debón hopes for return at Valencia after operation

The Spanish rider fractured his left collarbone after a crash on his Moto2 machine at the Montmeló test on Thursday.

Alex Debón underwent surgery on the fractured collarbone he sustained at the Circuit de Catalunya on Thursday, a result of a crash on his FTR bike.

Debón attended a hospital in Valencia where Doctors Vila and Raspaldi operated on him, and the procedure involved a titanium plate insertion to help the fracture heal. Debón, who left the hospital this morning (Friday), plans to begin his rehabilitation immediately in the hope of being able to ride at the next test, the official Moto2/125cc test at Valencia from March 1-3.

The Team Aeroport de Castelló rider had just started the development of his FTR bike at Montmeló, as he prepares for his campaign in the inaugural season of the new Moto2 class in 2010.
