Hopkins abandons the idea of racing in MotoGP

John Hopkins announced the previous Saturday in Anaheim that he would race in the AMA Championship in 2010 with Suzuki, as revealed by Matthew Miles, editor of Cycle World, via Twitter. In doing so, Hopkins closed the door on a possible return to MotoGP with the FB Corse project, with whom he reportedly had a verbal agreement.
