Dunlop, the single tyre supplier for the inaugural Moto2 season, have presented race fans with the opportunity to gain an insight into the knowledge, skill and expertise that goes into producing the rubber compounds for the World Championship intermediate category.

The attached free video contains interviews with Dunlop Motorsport Manager Steve Male, who explains how the technology involved in manufacturing the Moto2 tyres could well be used for road tyres in the future.

Nigel Nock, Principle Analyst for Advanced Engineering at the company, talks about the time spent preparing for the new class and also the specific technologies involved in providing the tyres with such high performance features.
