The German rider fell during motocross training on Monday and will not ride at the Gran Premi Aperol de Catalunya this weekend.
Stefan Bradl will not ride in the Moto2 race at the Gran Premi Aperol de Catalunya this weekend after crashing when riding a motocross bike on Monday, injuring his right foot in the process.
The Viessmann Kiefer Racing rider suffered bruising in the foot, and will be substituted by Ricky Cardús this weekend at Montmeló. Cardús has built up experience of competing on a Suter chassis for the Laglisse team in the Moto2 category of the Spanish National Championship this season.
The injury suffered by Bradl should not affect his participation in the Eni Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland, but he will join Axel Pons as an absentee from the Moto2 grid at Catalunya, with Thomas Lüthi and Alex Debón both facing late decisions on their fitness to ride this weekend.
