Márquez guides Sunday warm up

The 125cc pole holder for the Gran Premio A-Style de Aragón was the fastest in the warm up session which took place in cool, sunny conditions.

Marc Márquez topped the final warm up session before the 125cc race at Aragón on Sunday morning in sunny, cool conditions at the Spanish circuit. The Red Bull Ajo Motorsport rider was the only man to get under the 2'00" barrier, going round in a best time of 1'59.987.

Pol Espargaró (Tuenti Racing), who will start from the second row, was second at 0.255s off Márquez, with Bancaja Aspar pair Nico Terol and Bradley Smith third and fourth respectively. Jonas Folger (Ongetta Team), Efrén Vázquez (Tuenti Racing), Luis Salom (Stipa-Molenaar Racing) and Sandro Cortese (Avant Mitsubishi Ajo) completed the top eight in a session that took place on a track measuring 16ºC.

There was a fall for Khairuddin Zulfahmi (AirAsia - Sepang International Circuit Team) but the Malaysian rider walked away unharmed.

The 125cc race gets underway at 11am local time.
