Dani Pedrosa: 2010 season review

Dani Pedrosa: 2010 season review looks back over the campaign of each premier class rider with a video which compiles the most pivotal moments of their year.

Finishing runner-up in the MotoGP World Championship for the second time in his career, Dani Pedrosa’s campaign got off to an inconsistent start but a first victory of the year at Mugello in Round 4 laid the basis for what was to be a far more reliable stream of results.

Assen and Catalunya saw the Repsol Honda man finish second both times and were the start of a rich run of form, as further wins picked up at Sachsenring, Indianapolis and Misano doubled Pedrosa’s previous best victory tally in the category (bringing him up to four) and also moved him to within a 52-point range of leader Jorge Lorenzo with five rounds to go.

Just as Pedrosa’s challenging surge was in full swing bad luck struck at Motegi where a crash in practice meant that a fractured collarbone ruled him out for three races, thus ending any hopes he had of pushing for the title.

You can review the key moments of the Spaniard’s 2010 campaign in the attached video, as he prepares for a sixth season in the premier class on the factory Honda team in 2011.
