Kent quickest in Aragón morning warm-up

Kent quickest in Aragón morning warm-up

In warm-up for the Gran Premio Iveco de Aragón in the Moto3™ class it was Red Bull KTM Ajo’s Danny Kent who went quickest ahead of his teammate Arthur Sissis and Efrén Vázquez.

In the best conditions seen so far all weekend with sunny skies, Kent put in a best time of 2.01’790, with the Australian Sissis just over two tenths behind. JHK t-shirt Laglisse’s Spanish rider Vázquez was clearly enjoying the upturn in conditions as well, as he finished only a few thousandths off in third. Team Italia FMI’s Romano Fenati continued his good run of form in fourth, with other local rider, Estrella Galicia 0,0’s Alex Rins rounding out the top five.

Blusens Avintia’s Maverick Viñales ended the morning in eighth, whilst Red Bull’s championship leader Sandro Cortese was 11th fastest, after having a slight moment on a hot-lap. RW Racing GP’s Luis Salom suffered another fall this morning, walking away gingerly, as did San Carlo Gresini Moto3’s Niccolò Antonelli, who was unhurt in his fall.
