Warokorn replaces retiring Wilairot

Thai Honda PTT Gresini Moto2 will be running with a changed line-up when the Moto2™ season resumes at Indianapolis, as Thailand’s Thitipong Warokorn makes his debut following the retirement of compatriot Ratthapark Wilairot.

With Wilairot having now retired from professional racing, Warokorn will be making his first ever World Championship appearance. The 23-year-old newcomer arrives with experience from homeland Thailand, where he clinched the Thailand Super Bike 1000cc SB1 Class title in 2010.

This year he has been competing in the Asian Road Racing Championship, finishing fourth and sixth in the latest two races at the Madras Motor Race Track.
