Rabat continues to set pace in Warm-Up

Tito Rabat further emphasised that he is a favourite for victory in the Moto2™ Shell Advance Malaysian Motorcycle GP, having topped Sunday morning’s Warm-Up to have been the quickest rider in every session so far this weekend.

Never headed atop the timesheets since practice began on Friday, Tuenti HP 40 rider Rabat on this occasion set the pace with his leading lap time of 2’08.191.

Separated by just three thousandths of a second but one tenth down on Rabat, Interwetten Paddock Moto2 Racing’s Tom Luthi and Rabat’s teammate Pol Espargaro rounded out the top three, with championship leader Scott Redding fourth for Marc VDS Racing Team. Mattia Pasini was a faller for NGM Mobile Racing.

The Moto2™ race will be underway from 2:20pm local time (GMT +8).
