Viñales impresses with another second place

Paginas Amarillas HP 40’s Maverick Viñales produced another strong ride at Indy, crossing the finish line in second place.

It was the Moto2™ rookie’s fourth podium of the season and his third second place finish in four rounds as he continues to impress the World Championship paddock.

Viñales arrived at Indianapolis amid persistent speculation that he could move up to MotoGP™ next year with Suzuki, but he focused on the job at hand, to gain more championship points and consolidate his third place in the standings.

After the race he commented, “I am very happy with the weekend we had. Yesterday we worked a lot in the box after the qualifying and we found a very good set-up. In the Warm Up the bike worked well and allowed me to be fast in the race. I'm happy because we've cut points to Tito (Rabat) at the top and this was our main goal.”
