Team JiR joined by Noyes at Aragon

American racer Kenny Noyes will join Teluru Team JiR Webike for this weekend’s Gran Premio Movistar de Aragon.

With Tetsuta Nagashima out of action due to injury, Noyes will return to the Moto2™ category to substitute for the injured Japanese rider at the Spanish track.

Noyes knows the circuit well, the Barcelona-born 35 year-old having raced there in both Grand Prix and in the FIM CEV Repsol series, winning twice in the Superbike category there earlier this year. He rode at Aragon twice in the Moto2™ World Championship, in 2010 and 2011, during his two full seasons of Grand Prix participation.

Looking ahead to his return to elite level Moto2™ competition this weekend, Noyes commented, “This opportunity came as a complete surprise. It will be fun to get back out there on a Moto2 machine and see how it feels after a year and a half on a Superbike. Motorland is a tough technical track but I won my last two races there so I think we can have a good race if I can get used to Moto2 again quickly. I want to thank JiR for the ride and Kawasaki Palmeto for giving me permission to do a one off ride on a bike that isn't green!”
