World Wide Race, the company which owns and manages the team competing in the Moto3™ World Championship this year as Ambrogio Racing, has recruited Darryn Binder as teammate to Alessandro Tonucci for next season.
Darryn, 16, who competed in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup this year, is Brad Binder’s younger brother. Brad plays a leading role in Ambrogio Racing’s current team and will move to another team next year.
Darryn Binder commented, “Since the start of the season I've been watching closely what my brother does in the box, trying to learn as much as I can about the data and all that, because I never worked on anything like that before. My brother and I are very close, so we are always together. He shows and teaches me everything he can and I try to learn as much as possible from him. It’s probably five years since I've been racing against him, it was in the 125cc South African championship.”
“To be honest, I don't know what to expect from the next season. For sure I'll do the best I can. As always. Let's see how it goes.”
