Intermediate class rider changes to make for more great racing in 2015

As the provisional Moto2™ entry list for 2015 highlights, rookies moving up to the intermediate class next year, a number of riders changing teams and the continuation of some big names with their current teams should make for another exciting season.

The current Moto2™ standings leader is Tito Rabat who could clinch the World title this weekend in Sepang and the hard working Spanish rider is set to stay in the category next year. He wants to wrap up the 2014 title and become the first rider to defend the Moto2 crown next year.

Riding the Kalex again Rabat will be joined in 2015 in the Marc VDS Racing Team by a newcomer to the class, Alex Marquez. Marquez too has a title in his sights this season and would love to move up to Moto2 as the Moto3™ World Champion.

Marquez’s current teammate Alex Rins will also move up a category for 2015, the Spaniard joining another compatriot Luis Salom in the successful Paginas Amarillas HP 40 team. They too will both ride a Kalex.

Mika Kallio makes the switch to Italtrans Racing Team also on a Kalex, replacing Julian Simon who is going to QMMF Racing Team to ride the Speed Up.

Elsewhere Randy Krummenacher will move to JIR Moto2, Tasca Racing Scuderia Moto2 will run the Tech 3 bike and have recruited Louis Rossi, whilst Johann Zarco joins Ajo Motorsport as they move up into the intermediate class.
