Barbera: “Jerez is always special”

Barbera: “Jerez is always special”

Avintia Racing’s Hector Barbera heads to the Circuito de Jerez leading the MotoGP™ Open Class standings.

The Spanish rider will be looking to build on his lead in front of his home fans after finishing as the top Open class rider in two out of the first three races of the 2015 season.

Hector Barbera:
“Jerez is always special, is the first Grand Prix in Spain and we always get there excited to race in front our crowd. We arrive with high motivation because we have reached our targets in the first few races, and I think Jerez will be better for us than Argentina. Our main problem is the bike turning, but on the other hand the engine power of our bike is very good, and this would be an advantage in Jerez. We have to work hard from Friday to get the best possible set up for the race and we’ll try to fight for the Top 10. We were 15th in Qatar, 12th in Austin, 13th in Argentina, so Jerez would be the best place to get into the top ten.”
