Pedrosa: “I learned some things in Indy”

Pedrosa: “I learned some things in Indy”

Pedrosa narrowly missed the podium in Indianapolis, but he’s ready for the battle at the bwin Grand Prix České republiky.

A close battle with Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) narrowly saw Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team) come off second best and subsequently miss the MotoGP™ podium. This near defeat has left Pedrosa motivated, now more comfortable on the bike and with one or two lessons learned.

Brno has been the scene of many successes for Pedrosa in the past, the Spaniard having claimed four victories. 2014 saw Pedrosa take to the top step of the podium for the first time that season, ending Marc Marquez’s (Repsol Honda Team) run of wins. While neither Pedrosa nor Marquez are in the same position as in 2014, both have a realistic chance of fighting for the win. Pedrosa is yet to take to the top step in 2015 despite several stellar rides.

Dani Pedrosa: “Although the result was not what we wanted, I learned some things in Indy and enjoyed the battle with Valentino. I felt more comfortable on the bike and now we head to Brno where I won in 2014. This is a track I really like and always have a good feeling there. The atmosphere is special and I hope we can repeat our performance from last year. Let’s hope the weather is good for us and we can work 100% from FP1.”
