Mahindra Racing reveal revised MGP30 in India

Mahindra Racing’s MGP3O Racing Motorcycle makes its Indian debut at the Buddh International Circuit.

Moto3™ constructor Mahindra Racing flies the flag for India in MotoGP™. 2016 is the first time their MGP30 machine has ever been ridden on Indian soil since all technical developments are carried out at the team’s research and development centre in Varese, Italy.

The 2016 MGP3O has a new engine, gearbox and aerodynamic package, which are matched by several refinements to the chassis and electrical components. All these changes combine to offer greater performance in tune with a new double exhaust system developed by Arrow.

The new Mahindra MGP3O will be campaigned by factory entry Team Aspar with retained talented young riders Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia and Jorge Martin. Three Mahindra customer teams will see six further MGP3O machines on the grid run by CIP-Unicorm Starker, Platinum Bay Real Estate, and 3570 Team Italia, all running two-rider outfits. New to the Moto3™ arena, Peugeot Motocyles will run a MGP3O equivalent machine with Peugeot SAXOPRINT RTG. Danny Webb, who claimed Mahindra’s first ever pole position in 2011, will also be involved as a development rider.
