#StatAttack: Moto3™ look for the king of the 'Ring'

It's tight, it's twisty, it's the Sachsenring!

- None of the riders currently competing in the Moto3™ class have won a grand prix race at the Sachsenring circuit.

- Brad Binder finished second two years ago in the Moto3™ race in Germany, which was his first podium finish in grand prix racing. He finished seventh in 2015 at the Sachsenring, from 11th place on the grid.

- Jorge Navarro finished sixth last year in Germany on his first grand prix appearance at the Sachsenring circuit.

- Romano Fenati just missed out on a podium finish in the sprint to the line last year in Germany, finishing in fourth place – his first top ten finish at the Sachsenring circuit.

- Enea Bastianini finished third last year in Germany after being the second fastest rider in qualifying but then being given a three-place grid penalty.

- Two riders in the Moto3™ class will be celebrating their birthdays at the Sachsenring: John McPhee is twenty two on the day before practice starts at the Sachsenring and Hiroki Ono who is twenty four on the first day of practice.

- In addition to Binder and Bastianini mentioned above, the only other current Moto3™ rider to have had a podium finish in Germany is Alexis Masbou, who finished third in 2014 and second in 2012.
