Johann Zarco (Ajo Motorsport) went quickest in Warm Up at the Red Bull Ring, after the championship leader and reigning champion has looked unbeatable all weekend. Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS rider Franco Morbidelli was second quickest as the Italian made another small step in pace on Sunday, ahead of Zarco’s key title rival Alex Rins (Paginas Amarillas HP 40).
Fellow title contender Sam Lowes (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2) was in the top ten, but continued to struggle to find top 3 pace at the new venue.
