After Romano Fenati was suspended ahead of the Austrian GP for behaviour not in line with that expected in a team, the future of the partnership between Sky Racing Team VR46 and the Moto3™ title contender has now been confirmed. Fenati is parting ways with the team and FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship rider Lorenzo dalla Porta will be brought in to join Andrea Migno and Nicolo Bulega in another all-Italian line-up. Dalla Porta will be out on track for the first time in Silverstone at the British GP, after CEV duties the weekend before at the Circuito do Algarve.
Sky and VR46 continue to work with the goal of growing the ranks of junior Italian motorcycling talent, with Dalla Porta proving the perfect option to join his fellow Italians on the world stage. He will be completing the season with the VR46 squad, with no substitute brought in for the upcoming HJC Helmets Grand Prix České Republiky in Brno.
