#BritishGP: Twitter highlights

A weekend of some highs and some Lowes...here's the best of the Silverstone Twittersphere!

So there was a little rain and a lot of drama in the British GP, and Twitter of course provided its own, somewhat sideways glance at the action. This is our best of the Silverstone Twittersphere, beginning where everything in the UK often does - with beer, as our favourite new paddock bromance took it to the next level:

There was no real need to fear any rowdiness, however. The situation was well under control.

Paul was not so under control...

But his commitment to the cause was awe-inspiring. (Maybe next time you could extend the invite, Paul!)

We got some in-depth insights into the mind of a MotoGP™ rider...

...despite the weather proving a big surprise.

Nothing could dampen spirits at VR46 though, as Dalla Porta made his full-time debut (you can aww now):

This debutante reacted a little differently to his first on track experience...

But Petrux showed us why he's a pro.

Redding Power took his twitter handle to the next level:

As the squad waited for the beat to drop.

This was some fantastic news as the club wound down, though. Get well soon, Loris!

Eugene Laverty's fender was another KO. Mid-race DIY, anyone?

Finally as the flag came down, it was Top Gun Maverick who took his first win at Silverstone. A nice full-circle for the former airfield!

Now it's ciao ciao until Misano...and it looks like Dani Pedrosa will be the first there.
