Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) topped FP4 at Misano, with Repsol Honda Team's Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez completing the top 3 ahead of Rossi's teammate Lorenzo, in a tantalising glimpse of the 28 lap race that awaits on Sunday as the riders test out race pace as well as qualifying runs.
Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda) was P5, with Pol Espargaro (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) heading brother Aleix (Team Suzuki Ecstar) and the second Suzuki of Silverstone winner Maverick Viñales.
Andrea Dovizioso and Michele Pirro (Ducati Team) completed the top ten.
