Hernandez just outside the points

Colombian Pull&Bear Aspar Team rider finished Sunday’s Misano contest in 16th position

Yonny Hernandez left Italy empty handed after a frustrating weekend at the round 13 Gran Premio TIM di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini,

Unfortunately Hernandez was not able to keep up the positive results of the previous two races – having scored successive 11th place finishes at Brno and Silverstone - and finished just outside the points. The Colombian started from 19th position, but could not find a good feeling with his bike throughout the weekend and he eventually placed 16th at the end of the race.

Yonny Hernandez: “Throughout this Grand Prix we have found it hard to find a positive feeling that would allow us to be in the front group. It has been a difficult weekend and in the race I could only keep up the fastest pace possible, but ultimately it was not to be and we were not rewarded. I looked to catch (Scott) Redding in order to get into the points, but the tyre performance dropped and I was not able to do it.”
