Yamaha VR46 Master Camp riders reunite

Group of talented young riders gather again for training with Valentino Rossi

After a very successful first edition of the Yamaha VR46 Master Camp earlier this year, Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. and the VR46 Riders Academy have organised a second five-day program to offer six young Yamaha riders the opportunity to learn from nine-time World Champion Valentino Rossi and many other experts in the racing industry.

Peerapong Loiboonpeng (Thailand), Galang Hendra Pratama (Indonesia), Soichiro Minamimoto (Japan), Kasma Daniel Bin Kasmayudin (Malasia), and Imanuel Putra Pratna (Indonesia) have returned to Cattolica, Italy, on September 12th with the goal to soak in as much knowledge and experience as possible during the second Yamaha VR46 Master Camp held from Sept 14th ñ 18th.

The five talented riders that attended the first Yamaha VR46 Master Camp are thrilled to be joined by new pupil Apiwat Wongthananon (Thailand), a fellow Asia Production 250 (the AP250 class) competitor, who they will be helping to prepare for the second Master Camp by sharing their prior experiences.

Similar to the first edition, Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. and the VR46 Riders Academy have put together a busy five-day itinerary which includes gym sessions with the VR46 Academy riders, various training activities on flat track and road circuits with MotoGP icon Valentino Rossi, as well as a theoretical course.

Instructors at the second Yamaha VR46 The Master Camp will be none less than VR46 Riders Academy's Luca Marini and Nicolo Bulega as well as three-time English Flat Track Champion and two-time American and European Flat Track Champion Marco Belli, and SKY Racing Team VR46 Technical Director & Crew Chief Pietro Caprara. Together with the other VR46 Riders Academy riders they will be guiding the Master Camp students both on- an off-track to help them improve their skills and take the next step forward with their racing endavours.
