#2arco: Stats on Zarco's stunning second title

History made at Sepang: some information on Zarco's historic Championship win

- Zarco is the first French rider in the 68 years of motorcycle grand prix racing to win more than a single world title.

- The first rider to win back-to-back Moto2™ class world titles.

- The last rider before Zarco to win back-to-back titles in the intermediate-class was Jorge Lorenzo, who took the 250 World Championship in 2006 and 2007.

- Zarco has finished the last 37 successive races; the only two occasions he has failed to score points in this sequence of 37 races are earlier this year - at the French GP when he crashed and restarted to finish 24th, and at the British Grand Prix - when he was given a 30 second penalty relegating him to 22nd place.
