Redding on testing: “Not too bad”

Brit discusses his second day at the Valencia test

Scott Redding (Octo Pramac Yakhnich) had some positives and some negatives from the Valencia test – as did many of his contemporaries – and spent a lot of time trying out different tyres. Then, attention turned to turning and getting rid of excessive wheelie in the bike, as the Brit began to get the 2016 Desmosedici dialed in ready for next season.

Scott Redding (P13, day two): “The feeling is ok but there were some crashes that were a bit strange – I don’t know whether it was tyres or conditions, but I felt ok. The test hasn’t been too bad, although we lost a lot of time in the morning with the red flag – but in the end safety comes first. At the end we did a few laps where it was coming a bit better, trying some different tyres. The rear tyre wasn’t great to use. But we tried a few fronts because we don’t have many of the one I prefer, and in the afternoon worked on turning and the wheelie-ing.”
