Lorenzo Baldassarri (Forward Racing Team) took the top spot in a Moto2™ FP3 characterised by early drizzle and then an improving track, with Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and Danny Kent (Kiefer Racing) in P2 and P3 respectively. Man of the moment Franco Morbidelli (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) took fourth, with Simone Corsi (Speed Up Racing) completing the top five.
Isaac Viñales (BE-A-VIP SAG Team) was P6, ahead of Alex Marquez (EG0,0 Marc VDS), who found traffic on his last hot lap. Xavi Vierge (Tech 3 Racing), Hafizh Syahrin (Petronas Raceline Malaysia) and Fabio Quartararo (Pons HP 40) completed the top ten.
