Day of Champions at Silverstone. the countdown is on

Only 23 days to go to Day of Champions at Silverstone - the opener for the long awaited 2017 British MotoGP™ weekend!

Day of Champions will once again kick start the Octo British Grand Prix this year to get one of the UK’s best sporting events in gear. It brings you close to the paddock insiders and the stars of your sport, making for a unique experience.

Here’s the line-up:

The Entertainment Zone gates open at 9.00am. Fans can enjoy live music from El Duderino, incredible stunt displays from Dougie Lampkin MBE.  Then Julian Ryder interview’s the stars of the sport, Keith Huewen reveals the stories of the ‘Unsung Heroes’ of MotoGP™. New for 2017 - Matt Roberts & Michael Hill host ‘Inside Moto’ when YOU ask the questions of our guest riders.

The selected riders of Dorna’s first-ever British Talent Cup will take to the stage at 2.30pm.  200 young British riders applied to try out for this opportunity. The 90 who were shortlisted will attend the selection event on Wednesday 23rd at Silverstone where the final selection will be made under the watchful eye of Alberto Puig & Jeremy McWilliams. You get a chance to see the British stars of the future for the first time at Day of Champions.  We could not be more excited and wish all applicants the best of luck for the selection process.   

Join Two Wheels for Life co-founder Randy Mamola, BT Sport’s Gavin Emmett and Jules Ryder and the stars of MotoGP™ on the main stage from 3pm, taking you through to 8pm. A sneak peek of items available in the auction will be released shortly and you will not be disappointed!

Tickets for the Entertainment Zone are £15 pre-booked (£18 on the day) and include access to the famous charity auction of exclusive moto-memorabilia and experiences
