Marquez hits a milestone: 100 podiums

The rider from Cervera hits a century as he takes his 100th podium since debuting in 2008

1st Podium: a rostrum debut to remember
He got his first podium - in P3 - at 15 years and 126 days old, at Donington Park. The race was wet and also saw another record broken as Scott Redding became the youngest ever GP winner on the top step.

5th Podium: the first win - Mugello 2010
Marquez won his first race and beat Nico Terol and Pol Espargaró - he would go on to take his first world title at the end of the season with fourth in Valencia.

14th Podium: zero to hero - Estoril 2010
After drama before the race even got underway, Marquez bounced back in some serious style.

15th Podium: first Moto2™ victory - France 2011
Beating Tom Lüthi and Stefan Bradl, Marquez took his first intermediate class win at Le Mans.

38th Podium: the second crown - Australia 2012
Marquez secured his second title with third at Phillip Island behind Pol Espargaró and Anthony West at Phillip Island.

39th Podium: from the back to the front - Valencia 2012
Marquez left the intermediate class in style after getting a penalty and starting from P33 - slicing through to win.

41st Podium: first premier class victory - Texas 2013
In only his second race in the premier class, Márquez was on the top step in MotoGP™ for the first time - at the track he has since dominated every year.

55th Podium: first MotoGP™ title - Valencia 2013
Marc Marquez vs Jorge Lorenzo: despite the Majorcan's best efforts, Marquez' 13 point advantage going into the race was enough to give him the crown by taking third - and he became a rookie World Champion.

65th Podium: 10 in a row - Indianapolis 2014
On an unbelievable run from the start of the season, Marquez took his tenth win in a row at the Brickyard after a showdown to remember.

67th Podium: second MotoGP™ title - Motegi 2014
Marquez came home second behind Lorenzo after overcoming Valentino Rossi at the Twin Ring Motegi.

89th Podium: third MotoGP™ title - Motegi 2016
After a race that nobody predicted, Marquez wrapped up the title in Japan once again - despite the long odds going into the round.

100th Podium:
It wasn't quite a win at Motegi, but it was an incedible duel and an all-time classic as Marquez took on Dovizioso in the rain, crossing the line in second.
