Currently Technical Director for Michelin Racing, the Frenchman leaves the French tyre manufacturer after 28 years of service, mainly spent leading racing projects including the brand’s presence in MotoGP™.
Goubert played a key role in strengthening Michelin’s relationship with Dorna Sports as the official supplier of the premier class, as reflected in the French marque recently having renewed their commitment to MotoGP™ until at least the end of 2023.
Goubert will now bring his experience and know-how to this brand new and world-leading project, taking up his new position in February 2018.
