Marquez fastest in mixed FP3 – with Q2 entry unchanged

The reigning Champion stays ahead despite the change in the weather – with Q2 entry unchanged from Friday

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) topped a mixed and damp FP3 at Termas de Rio Hondo, six tenths ahead of Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) and Alvaro Bautista (Angel Nieto Team) as the rain shuffled the order.

But because of that same rain, the top ten who were provisionally on for direct entry to Q2 are now a definite, with Marquez still ahead on that list of combined times. He’s joined in Q2 by Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda Castrol), Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team), Tito Rabat (Reale Avintia Racing), Andrea Iannone (Team Suzuki Ecstar), Maverick Viñales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP), Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP), Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar), Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) and Jack Miller (Alma Pramac Racing).

After a difficult Friday for some, there are a couple of big usual suspects missing from that list: Championship leader Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) and teammate Jorge Lorenzo.

Make sure you watch the Ducatis duel it out to move through in Q1, which begins at 15:10 local time (GMT -3). For full results from FP3, click here!
