Marcel Schrötter (Dynavolt Intact GP) goes in pursuit of his first Grand Prix podium from P2 on Sunday at the GP Octo di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini and he got his day off to the perfect start by topping Moto2™ Warm Up with a 1:37.764, heading the field by 0.309 seconds with Augusto Fernandez (Pons HP40) second behind the German, despite a small crash at Turn 4.

Third in the morning session was Championship challenger Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo), who launches from P9, with the two EG 0,0 Marc VDS machines of Joan Mir and Alex Marquez completing the top five in Warm Up – pole man and Championship leader Francesco Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46) could only manage P16 ahead of his home GP.
Khairul Idham Pawi (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia) and Stefano Manzi (Forward Racing Team) crashed – riders ok.
