The Czech GP has been and gone and it’s already time to get set for Round 11 of the season, as MotoGP™, Moto2™, Moto3™ and MotoE™ prepare to tackle the Red Bull Ring at the myWorld Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich.
The weekend kicks off as usual with the Moto3™ riders rumbling out of pitlane for FP1 at 09:00 local time (GMT+2), before the premier class boys fill the Austrian hills with the bellowing sound of MotoGP™ at 09:55. Moto2™ FP1 follows at 10:55 before the MotoE™ riders are back in action at 11:50. MotoGP™ FP2 comes your way at 14:10, with the electric class ending the day’s track action with their FP2 at 16:50.
It’s a slightly earlier start than usual on Saturday morning as, unlike at the Sachsenring, the MotoE™ class with have an FP3 session beginning at 08:30 local time. MotoGP™ get what could be a vital FP3 underway at 09:55, before Moto3™ start qualifying proceedings at 12:35. MotoGP™ Q1 and Q2 get going at 14:10 and 14:35 respectively, with Moto2™ heading out at 15:05. The exciting E-Pole will go green at 16:00.
Race day will begin earlier than the Czech GP with Moto3™ Warm Up starting at 08:20 local time. Moto2™ Warm Up and MotoGP™ Warm Up follows before the first race of the day sees MotoE™ rip around the Red Bull Ring at 10:00. After that, Moto3™ go racing at 11:00, Moto2™ fight for victory at 12:20 and the MotoGP™ riders will be hunting glory at 14:00.
