Tech 3 E-Racing’s Hector Garzo will lead the MotoE™ field into E-Pole later today after setting the fastest lap of the weekend in the all-electric class in this morning’s FP3 session at the myWorld Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich.
Garzo will be the last to set a lap in the second E-Pole, taking place at 16:00 (GMT+2) at the Red Bull Ring later today, but with the top eight riders covered by just 0.283 of a second it looks like the fight for E-Pole will be extremely close.
EG 0,0 Marc VDS’ Mike Di Meglio ended second quickest, half a tenth behind, before Avinitia Esponsorama Racing’s Eric Granado, One Energy Racing’s Bradley Smith and Friday’s pacesetter, Ajo MotoE’s Niki Tuuli, completed the top five.
