Preparations for the 2021 MotoGP™ World Championship are already well underway with a selection of riders currently blowing off the cobwebs on road bikes ahead of 20 races this year. The first Grand Prix isn’t until the tail end of March in Losail, Qatar and the Gulf state will also host the first official test of the season at the beginning of the same month.
With riders in new colours across the grid, fans have the chance to hear first-hand the motivations of riders and teams as they breakdown their plans for the next 12 months during February. At the moment, two dates have been pencilled in for the shortest month of the year.
The first of which saw Avintia unveil the liveries of reigning intermediate class World Champion Enea Bastianini and SKY VR46-backed Luca Marini in Andorra on the 5th of February. Ducati Team were then next to give their state of affairs on the 9th of February, as Jack Miller and Francesco Bagnaia unleashed a very red pair of Bologna bullets.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and Tech3 KTM Factory Racing have unveiled their 2021 colours, with Tech3 going all orange for the season ahead!
Then it was the turn of Yamaha. Fabio Quartararo was seen in Monster Energy Yamaha gear for the first time as he and teammate Maverick Viñales showed off the factory Yamahas!
SKY Racing Team VR46 were next as Luca Marini joined Marco Bezzecchi and Celestino Vietti for the official launch.
LCR Honda Castrol and Idemitsu revealed Alex Marquez and Takaaki Nakagami's colours on the 19th and 20th of February in Cervera, with both bikes having updated paint jobs for the new year.
Repsol Honda Team unwrapped Marc Marquez and Pol Espargaro's new machines on the 22nd of February, will we see the number 93 on track for Round 1?
Pramac Racing then showed off Johann Zarco and Jorge Martin's Ducatis in all their glory, ahead of the final two teams to show off their bikes: World Champions Team Suzuki Ecstar and Aprilia Racing Team Gresini!
