Muñoz, Aldeguer and Cruces took victory on a sad day for the sport

Round 5 of FIM CEV Repsol saw Avatel - Cardoso Racing's David Muñoz clinch a career-first victory in the FIM Moto3™ Junior World Championship, beating poleman Jose Rueda (Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) by 0.019 of a second. Championship leader Daniel Holgado (Aspar Junior Team) claimed the final podium place and is now 60 points clear of Muñoz in second.

Fermin Aldeguer extended his lead in the Moto2™ European Championship with an eighth consecutive victory of the season. The 16-year-old is 44 points clear of Boscoscuro Team Ciatti teammate Alonso Lopez after the Spaniard finished second, with AGR Team's Taiga Hada taking a debut podium in third.

Cuna de Campeones' Adrian Cruces was victorious for the first time in his career in a nine-lap Hawkers European Talent Cup race. Xabi Zurutuza (Cuna de Campeones) remains the Championship leader after finishing second, three tenths clear of Max Martinez (Team Honda Laglisse) in third.

The race was red-flagged on the second lap following a serious incident. It is with great sadness that the FIM CEV Repsol then reported the passing of rider Hugo Millán and the remaining track action was cancelled. The FIM, FIM Europe, Dorna and MotorLand Aragón Circuit pass on our deepest condolences to Millán's family, friends, team and loved ones.
