Adam Norrodin, from Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia became the first rider from the Asia Talent Cup to join the World Championship when he made his debut with the Drive M7 SIC Racing Team in 2016. Aside from running in the ATC in 2014 and 2015, where he scored several podium finishes, Norrodin also raced in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship with the Asia Talent Team. During his 2015 season in the CEV Norrodin scored points ahead of his full-time Moto3™ debut in 2016. Norrodin remained with SIC Racing Team in 2017 and took some impressive top tens – looking to keep progressing next season in the re-named Petronas Sprinta Racing.
