Ahead of the Gran Premio Movistar de Aragon at MotorLand Aragon, Movistar Yamaha MotoGP duo Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi came face to face with their counterparts on a different kind of two wheels - Movistar cycling team's Nairo Quintana and Alejandro Valverde. Colombian Quintana recently won the Vuelta de España cycling event and was joined by his teammate at this pre-event with a difference to kick off the next round of the 2016 MotoGP™ world championship, comparing some notes and getting a glimpse of life on the other side of two wheels - with some serious horsepower.

Lorenzo and Quintana previously met this season on a rest day during the Tour de France, when the reigning MotoGP™ world champion went for a ride with the Colombian. At MotorLand after the initial reunion, the cyclists were shown around by their horse-powered counterparts and all four of the riders did a little note-taking from both sides before heading out on track to take on the 5.1 kilometer venue, with Rossi and Lorenzo on their Yamaha M1s and the cyclists on their bicycles.

The 10 left and 7 right corners of MotorLand Aragon - as well as the elevation changes - are a fantastic challenge for both cyclists and motorcyclists, and competitive spirits took over a little as the wheels began to spin. With the bicycles then back in their box, engines will next fire up for their return to the track for the Gran Premio Movistar de Aragon on Friday - with Lorenzo looking for his third win in a row at the venue and Rossi focused on getting back on the podium at the Spanish track.
