Binder will take the title at the Aragon GP if...

Red Bull KTM Ajo rider gets ready for his first shot at wrapping up the 2016 Moto3™ World Championship

At the Aragon GP, Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) has the chance to become the first South African rider to win a grand prix title since Jon Ekerold won the 350cc title in 1980. The most likely scenarios to give Binder the title are:

- If Binder finishes first or second he will be world champion irrespective of where his closest rivals finish.

- If Binder finishes third he will be champion if closest rival Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing Moto3) does not win the race.

- If Binder finishes fourth, fifth or sixth he will be champion if Bastianini does not finish either first or second and Jorge Navarro (Estrella Galicia 0,0) does not win the race.

- If Binder finishes seventh he will be champion if Bastianini does not finish on the podium and Jorge Navarro does not win the race.

- If Binder finishes eighth or ninth he will be champion if Bastianini does not finish on the podium, Navarro does not finish either first or second and Bulega does not win the race.

Last but not least, it is still possible for Binder to win the title finishing lower than ninth, but it then gets more highly dependent on where his rivals finish. 100+ points ahead by the flag makes the Red Bull KTM Ajo rider the 2016 Moto3™ World Champion.
