Bulega tops wet FP1

Italian rookie heads the timesheets on a rainy Friday morning at Phillip Island

Nicolo Bulega (Sky Racing Team VR46) was quickest in FP1 in the Australian GP, topping the timesheets by over four tenths over compatriot Niccolo Antonelli (Ongetta-Rivacold) as the rain came down at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0) was another quick rookie in P3, with Gabriel Rodrigo (RBA Racing Team) and Bulega’s teammate Andrea Migno completing the top five.

Tatsuki Suzuki (CIP-Unicom Starker) was sixth, with Leopard Racing’s Andrea Locatelli, Gresini Racing Moto3 rookie Fabio Di Giannantonio and Red Bull KTM Ajo rookie Bo Bendsneyder for company. Livio Loi (RW Raving GP BV) completed the top ten.
