Maria Herrera to AGR in Moto3™ 2017

Spaniard joins new Moto3™ AGR project for next season

Maria Herrera is set to ride for the new lightweight class effort from the AGR Team for next season, as the team change structure to run one bike in the Moto2™ World Championship and one in Moto3™. Herrera, who is a FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ race winner and Moto3™ World Championship points scorer, is currently recovering from a broken collarbone after a crash in Sepang and will miss the season finale this season - after having also broken her wrist earlier in the year after a 2016 punctuated by bad luck.

Herrera will remain the only full time female rider in the MotoGP™ paddock in 2017 as she embarks upon the new chapter with the AGR Team, and will be riding KTM machinery.
