Dalla Porta leads Canet into qualifying

Less than a tenth split the top two in Moto3™ FP3 with Bezzecchi third fastest

Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Racing) went quickest in the Moto3™ FP3 session at the Pramac Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland, setting a time of 1:26.351 to go 0.080 ahead of second place Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0), with Marco Bezzecchi (Redox PrustelGP) 0.311 behind in third place.

The three at the top and Enea Bastianini (Leopard Racing) were the only top nine riders to improve on their FP2 times ahead of qualifying, the Italian was fourth quickest in the session and on the combined timesheets, with John McPhee (CIP – Green Power) fifth in the session – eighth on the combined times.

Jaume Masia (Bester Capital Dubai) suffered a late highside on the exit of Turn 3 in the session, landing heavily - the Spaniard was taken to the side of the track on a stretcher and was then taken to the medical centre for a check-up.
