German over four tenths clear as action gets underway at Brno

Marcel Schrötter (Dynavolt Intact GP) was fastest in Moto2™ FP1 at the Czech GP, heading the timesheets by four tenths from rookie Romano Fenati (Marinelli Snipers Team). It soon closed up, however, with Championship leader Francesco Bagnaia (Sky Racing Team VR46) in third and less than a tenth further back.

Alex Marquez (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) was fifth in an Italtrans Racing Team sandwich, with Andrea Locatelli in fourth and Mattia Pasini in sixth.
