2019 British Talent Cup calendar revised

Valencia to be replaced by Brno, with the season finale changed to the British Grand Prix

The 2019 calendar for the British Talent Cup has been revised, with Valencia replaced by Brno and the season finale therefore taking place at Silverstone alongside the British Grand Prix.

The decision was taken to make this change due to revisions to the calendar of the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup. Due to time constraints, the British Talent Cup has been rescheduled to Brno in order to ensure the competitors get the most from the experience of racing on a circuit outside the British Isles.

The BTC will therefore share the stage with the Monster Energy Grand Prix České republiky from the 2nd to the 4th August, with the races at the Czech GP becoming the penultimate BTC round of the year.

That means, with Valencia no longer on the calendar, that the British Grand Prix will now host the season finale of the 2019 Cup. Previously the penultimate round of the year, the event from the 23rd to 25th August will be a fitting crescendo as the grid fight it out to become BTC Champion – with a good chance the 2019 winner will now be crowned on home turf.
