Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup Sepang 1 Round postponed

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the August ATC event at Sepang International Circuit has been postponed

The Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK) is on hiatus due to the current restrictions on hosting events put in place by the Malaysian government. The status of the event to be held at Sepang International Circuit from the 7th to the 9th of August, which was to host a round of the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup, is therefore currently unknown.

This has obliged the postponement of this round of the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup due to logistical and organisational restrictions, and it will not go ahead from the 7th to the 9th of August.

If the MSBK round originally set to host the ATC is postponed and held at a later date, the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup round may be rescheduled to coincide with that same event. If, however, the MSBK event goes ahead as planned in August, or in the event of its cancellation, it may instead be possible for the ATC to join a later date on the MSBK calendar.

Pursuant to information from government authorities, Dorna Sports is closely monitoring the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. As the situation remains in a state of constant evolution, any further calendar changes or updates cannot be confirmed until it becomes clearer when exactly it will be possible to hold the events.
