      Quartararo takes to the asphalt at Circuit Paul Ricard

      The reigning MotoGP™ Rookie of the Year was at the French layout to burn some rubber on a Yamaha R1 superbike

      Petronas Yamaha SRT star Fabio Quartararo was laying the rubber on Thursday the 18th of June as the Frenchman headed to the Circuit Paul Ricard to spin some laps.

      The 21-year-old was riding a Yamaha R1 superbike at the French layout as training regimes for the Grand Prix paddock start to ramp up, with the Gran Premio Red Bull de España just a month away – scene of Quartararo’s maiden premier class pole position.

       

      It follows from other MotoGP™, Moto2™ and Moto3™ riders getting back out on track in recent weeks as lockdown restrictions begin to ease in Europe. The 2020 season is fast approaching restart and we can expect to see more riders getting reaffirmed with attacking the asphalt in the lead up to Jerez.
