Less than two weeks on from the doubleheader held at the Jerez - Ángel Nieto Circuit, which hosted the Red Bull GP of Spain and the Red Bull GP of Andalusia, the championship resumes at the Autodromo Brno for the Monster Energy Grand Prix of the Czech Republic.
All three categories of the World Championship face a new grand Prix which kicks off on Thursday, August the 6th with the pre-event press conference. The MotoGP™ riders summoned to speak at 17:00 (GMT + 2) are Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT), Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team), Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda Idemitsu) , Valentino Rossi (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) and Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda Team).
To enjoy the on-track action, your alarm should be set for 09:00 on Friday the 7th, when Moto3 ™ starts FP1, before MotoGP™ faces its first practice session at 09:55. Later, motorcycle racing’s premier class returns to the track for its second free practice session at 14:10. The first day of action comes to a close at 15:50 when the second Moto2™ free practice session ends.
The excitement will increase on Saturday the 8th. After the last free practice sessions, qualifying will start from 12:35, at which time Moto3™ riders will compete in Q1. Regarding the premier class, the riders have their chance to challenge for pole position for the third MotoGP™ race of the year from 14:10, while the protagonists of Moto2™ will chase the best time at 15:10 to end the working day.
Sunday the 9th will witness three closely contested races. After the Warm Up sessions that start at 08:40, Moto3™ kicks off the action at 11:00, before Moto2™ takes over at 12:20. The MotoGP™ race, which gets underway at 14:00, will be the icing on the cake.
