Eric Granado (Avintia Esponsorama Racing) set a 1:43.400 in FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup FP1 at the Gran Premio TISSOT dell'Emilia Romagna e della Riviera di Rimini to edge out Xavier Simeon (LCR E-Team) by just 0.027 on Friday morning. Standings leader Dominique Aegerter (Dynavolt Intact GP) completed the top three, 0.172 seconds off Granado.

San Marino GP winner Matteo Ferrari (Trentino Gresini MotoE) claimed P4 in the opening session of the weekend, the Italian was just under two tenths off Granado’s pace, with Mike Di Meglio (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) rounding out the top five.
